Koi = Love Hoshi = Starry No = Field/Plains Minamoto = Fountain/Spring
Found this youtube video, it's played on a Ukulele, and sung by a Kid. My friend told me this is a popular/famous song in japan, from their romantic dramas
I also follow a bunch of ukulele and piano channels. I like the playalong ukulele channels though they are too hard for me sometimes...

I watched that drama. It was a big hit, and the song was catchy. Apparently Hoshinogen's a bit of a sweetheart (he's a "salt face" as opposed to a "soy face" -- yes, they have words to describe attractive facial attributes like that).
This is the original:
I listen -- with not even a grain of irony -- to Tatsuro Yamashita since a few months ago. Apparently he's being highjacked by a new generation of angsty teenagers in the US and dubbed "vaporwave", that's all I know. I like it. The lyrics are ultra-cheezy, but the whole of Japan was basically drunk of money, sex and whisky at the time.

What have you been listening to?
Edit: Apparently Youtube doesn't like embedding videos anymore.
This gets me through 16,000-result searches for my thesis.

Uh my music taste varies from metal (Iron Maiden, Sabaton, Judas priest, Rammstein to name a few bands I listen too) all the way to Celtic folk bagpipes music so:

When the traffic gets too unbearable and I can't tune in to any good music on the radio, I usually connect my phone with an AUX cable and play this song on repeat:
"No more gold lights for the queen earth to keep you warm in your kingdoms, high on the waves you make for us, but not since you left have the waves come."

I've recently been super into solo sometimes-acapella covers of popular songs. I thought this phase mostly happened to mid-life soccer moms...
