When modifying a unit via AGE, one can increase the variable called "Blast Radius". However, upon doing so on units that initially have no such radius, he will discover that every unit has its own blast damage characteristics:
- Elephants and Trebs do 50% of their nominal damage, taking into account armor, bonus etc.
- Infantry do 100% of such damage.
- Cataphracts do a set value of 5, and also their radius seems smaller than that of Elephants, even though on paper it is the same.
- Mangonels do a damage that is bigger in the center and fades away towards the perimeter, and also there is a random factor (like they fire 50 arrows each with a 100% area damage with a small radius).
- Ram area damage does not affect units.
- Scorpion pass-through damage does not affect buildings.
Can someone point out the parameters that decide what type of trample/blast damage a unit is born with?

Research was done, it appears it is hardcoded. With latest User Patch fix one can opt for either Elephant-type trample damage (though 100% not 50%) by setting blast level to standard values (0-3) or Cataphract-type trample damage by adding 4 to standard values (selecting among 4-7).
