Is there a guide on how to use genie utils? Do I have to compile it on Dev C, it says it is missing some header files
when I try to compile it. I know some basics of C language...
Are there some other alternatives rather than AGE to edit genie engine dat files? I am trying to automate some repetitive work on dat editing...

I spent a lot of time trying to compile genie/AGE3 on my computer, but I never succeeded.
There are plenty of compilation issues behind because of hardcoded paths/dependencies on third-party tools/libraries and specific versions, and even syntax errors in the code (!)
Moreover it seems you have to create folders and copy-paste files in specific locations, which is totally undocumented, so...
If anyone manages to find a way (and write a howto that works) he would be most welcome.
I saw someone started to remove some dependencies (such as boost), which is a very good initiative, but I don't know if this is ready/if this works.
