I know that the AOK HD Steam version uses The Forgotten instead of the Forgotten Empires. However, I saw that your Forgotten Empires Mod zip has some neat scenarios like about legionnaires that are not in the Official The Forgotten DLC, I guess. Plus, there are scenarios in the AOK Heaven Blacksmith that are made for FORGOTTEN EMPIRES.
One of them is called Antiquityhttp://aok.heavengames.com/blacksmith/showfile.php?fileid=11681
I would like to play these scenarios and campaigns made for Forgotten Empires. However, the Zip file for Antiquity gives files to copy as well as just having the .cpx campaign file. And this part is confusing because the .zip doesn't say where to put the various files in the zip. For instance, one folder in the zip is called Images and it has BMP files. There is also a folder called Trajan that has a PNG file, a JPEG file, a Soundtrack MP3 file, and a file called Trajan.text Conceivably I would put all the image files in the main Age2HD directory on my laptop, but maybe there is somewhere else that they should go...
So my question is twofold:
1. Can I install Forgotten Empires (not the Forgotten) onto Steam HD AOK so that I can play these scenarios? For instance, there is a Genie Converter program on the Blacksmith that opens up AKX files and Mod directories and converts them into Mods that you can play in AOK HD on Steam. An example is the RAW Mod that I was able to get to work on AOK HD on Steam this way. The problem with using that for Forgotten Empires is that Forgotten Empires comes in the form of an exe installation program, rather than an AKX file.
2. Since I do have AOK:HD The Forgotten DLC, can I just forget about Forgotten Empires and directly paste these Forgotten Empires Scenarios into my AOK:HD Scenarios folder and then play them using the Forgotten Expansion?
