I'often noticed how "colorful" this forum is; and am wondering about the ethnic backgrounds of people here. This forum here might be very diverse; which is never a bad thing.

I think the picture on the ATA website is about 3 years old. You're almost going to university I believe, just one more year,

I'm pretty sure it was either taken in 1998 or 1999, anyway.

Most of my ancestory is German, though I have a little French and Irish (and even a drop of English). My families have been in the US a long time, and I live in a predominately German area. Seeing all of you face-to-face would probably be a culture shock to me.

How is my behavior related to the behavior of Chinese/Japanese Americans? Sure; I care about my education; and I may be most skilled in the Sciences like many northern Asians are; but on the other hand; it could apply for any other race...

I'm going have to agree with you. Simfish is the only one that I know that reads the Three Kingdoms besides me. I read mine in Chinese so I don't really know the translation of names in English that well.
Edit: Anyways, what ethnic background are you then Simfish?

I believe that Tonto_Kaiser isn't Asian; and he has read the Three Kingdoms. I was immersed into the Three Kingdoms through the scenairo made by Stan; since I am deeply into scenarios with a high rating at the AoKH Blacksmith. Howveer, I have never heard of the period before I played the scenario. Any other speculations on why?

You'll have to make an educated guess. I would like to know what people think I am.. One way is to view my subprofile through AIM, and to find the IMs of my classmates, but I have long since deleted my Subprofile; although the damage has already been done; nd one forummer already knows what ethnicity I am.

All speculations about race are based upon stereotypes.
You can be a Navajo, for all I know.

Stereotypes can sometimes be amazingly accurate.
Besides, why make a thread like this if you're not going to share your race?

True; but statistics can show some speculations of race; although you can only take probability into account when you're looking at statistics. For instance; I used to live in Westminster, CO, where there was a certain percentage of ethnic group percentages, and I later moved to Redmond, WA, which also has a certain percentage of ethnic group percentages.
You can also take social-economic factors into role. For example, Chinese, Koreans, and Japanese are often far better off in terms of education and social-economic factors, while the opposite applies to other minority groups. Whites usually fall a bit below the Northern Asians, but above the other minorities.

Perhaps; perhaps not; but there are approxiamtely 350,000 Navajo living today. I believe that around half are on reservations, which leaves a certain thousand of people to be scattered around the nation. Colorado has a larger Navajo population than many states; but according to statistics, it is very unlikely that I am one.

Stereotypes of certain sorts can be very accurate. For example, I do not even know of a single Chinese, Japanese, or Korean, who performs below grade level expectations on Math. Meanwhile; I would hate to say it; but I don't see very many Hispanics or blacks in gifted programs...
As for sharing my race; you'll have to make a good educated guess about my race; use research and deception to your advantage, ZOne me claiming that you're one of my classmates and demand my name again; but I'm prepared for that now. ;-)
