Of course, as we are all equal we have collective responsibility to work together to broaden the horizons and follow the traditions of Neo-Socialist-Arocratic-Republicism; dissenters, past rulers of tyranny, those who dare bring new customs that impeach unto the ways of Neo-Socialist-Arocratcic-Republicism will be dealt with and sent to the “State Rehabilitation Centre” – founded by hero of Neo-Socialist-Arocratic-Republicism, bleedteal.

We are all comrade, loyal and equal to each other - yet with lend this service and loyalty to the founder of the Arocratic Pary and is the man, whom may rules with an iron fist - but covering that is a velvet glove which he wears for his people; may the enemies of Neo-Socialist-Arocratcic-Republicism feel the iron hand of our Benevolent Dictator: Aro!

Glorious legislation that is the sovereign entity, which is Splash Splash which embodies Neo-Socialist-Arocratic-Republicism:
  • Speak not of dissent
  • Speak not of decline
  • Wear nothing but rose-tinted spectacles when speaking of the past
  • Speak not of new ideas that threaten Neo-Socialist-Arocratic-Republicism
  • Treat the sovereign entity, which is Splash Splash, as the way it was used for.

Dear brothers and daughter of the grand leader Aro; as we stand in our great nation we must provide that a record of it stands for the length of time through the telling of tales and making lore and legend! Of course, the loving state has taken it upon itself to provide an epic lore, unlike in days of old – this will be a screenplay, not a poem.

Epic Commander: Dissenter to the traditions of Neo-Socialist-Arocratic-Republicis and spreading lies about Comrade Oliver. May be fully realised if he embraces the true path. Post 141 shows his dissent, let the collective responsability of the comrades enforce justice.

Warlord002: Lord?! As a self-proclaimed member of the bourgeoisie he must suffer.

Turty: Speaks of dissent, he will remain here until he is active for the cause of Neo-Socialist-Arocratic-Republicism - but insulting the greatness of Splash Splash will mean he will remain here for a long time

I hear the British use "pants" as a negative
Well, no. Or are there negative pants, Brit dudes? The difference between American pants and British pants is that for Americans they mean trousers whereas for Brits they mean underwear. Also Brit pants come off easier?

I've always loved the word "pants". I mean, imagine someone screaming "MAH PANTS" with no pants. Wouldn't that be a truly comical sight?

Clearly Aro, our countries have different meanings for the word.
I'm giving you crap. Nevermind me.
Well, no. Or are there negative pants, Brit dudes?
It was a 19-year-old British girl that told me this. Maybe the 19-year-old girls in Britain don't like pants.... Scud, you lucky bastard.

On a music-related subject, did anybody watch the VH1 Rock Honors for The Who last night?

They had a pretty damn good line-up of musicians who played in tribute: Foo Fighters, Incubus, The Flaming Lips, Tenacious D, and Pearl Jam (Adam Sandler apparently knows how to play guitar too). And of course, I must give a short review of the show, as I loved it.
Foo Fighters - "Young Man Blues" and "Bargain" (with guest vocals by Gaz Coombs of Supergrass)
Incubus - "I Can See for Miles" and "I Can't Explain"
    Tenacious D - "Squeeze Box"
Pearl Jam- "Love Reign o'er Me" and "The Real Me"
    Flaming Lips - Tommy medley
The Who - "Baba O'Riley", "Who Are You", "Behind Blue Eyes", "My Generation", "Won't Get Fooled Again" and "Tea & Theatre"
Foo Fighters were great, very energetic. Incubus was sort of boring, I've never been a big fan of Brandon Boyd's vocals anyway. Even though they're a two-man acoustic band, Tenacious D was great; Jack Black's vocals always make them rock hard. Pearl Jam's version of "Love Reign O'er Me" was the best cover of the entire show; a Who-fan friend of mine watched it too and was surprised to see Eddie Vedder hit Daltry's high notes perfectly. The Flaming Lips weren't that great at first, but they were going strong by the end of their set. Roger Daltry and Pete Townshend were awesome, very energetic considering they're in their 60's. Roger can't hit the high notes anymore, but Pete can still play like a mofo.

    We call "pants" trousers.

In Britain, "pants" are used to refer to the male undergarments, albeit very unstylish ones (like Y-Fonts).

Thus most gentleman of fashion and sound mind (like myself) refer to their undergarments as "boxers" - due to the fact the majority of us wear boxer shorts, the loose briefs (or tight in some cases) that resemble swimming trunks worn under the trousers.

Posting about my underwear? Oh no, never.

But my fine figure, a stunning examplar of beauty, which are my legs - yes I have been lambasted for that. They're just jealous they do not share such awesome legs (or slender wrists, which I one day become a watch model because of them).

Maybe 'trousers' is related to the French word 'troux', 'hole'? You know, trousers got holes so you can put your feet through? From now on I'll call trousers, 'holers'.

And for some weird reason I just remembered the opening scene of Bouren. Maybe because I had to play it like 30 times before I beat it, back when I was playtesting.

    Creepy, nevertheless.

You know, since I've been in the middle of uni holidays in recent times, I did some exploring with new and old AoC campaigns/scenarios. One thing I looked at was Bouren - Ornlu edition ;p. You're a true scenario designing expert - replacing that beta tower thingy with a watch tower so it fit the scenery better. Amazing! Without that incredible input from you at the beginning of it (you first playtested it after I had worked 1 hour total on it back in 03!), I don't think I would've finished it.

I also realised how absolute crap my speech was. In every single old and unfinished scenario I've made that I went through recently, I cringed at at least 50% of what I wrote. Embarrassing stuff. Even in my last unfinished project some of the text was just so... silly and poorly set out.

Apart from that terrible writing, I was still quite happy with that 'last unfinished project'. Map design and general gameplay was quite good. I don't think you (by 'you' I'm still referring to Ornlu somehow ) played that project, though. I think it was only Aro, nI and I think CC. So really, what I have been saying in the last paragraph is pointless.

Some other AoC stuff I've been doing is downloading some highly-rated campaigns that were uploaded after I stopped being active here.

I finished Dave_Earl's Macbeth last night. The whole campaign had quite an old school 'feel' to it. A '00/01 SCNPunk' feel. Was slightly frustrating trying to finish off the game each scenario because of the low population limit for B&D. Strangely enough, the final scenario seemed the easiest of the 4 to finish. Also experienced a gging bug in the first scenario that I should probably say in the BS comments section.

Damn. What am I doing writing all this?

    Signed,
    DaVe.

I remember playing a lot of offbeat Sim games...Sim Park, Sim Theme Park. OMG, Sim Park had the most annoying "wizard/this-is-how-you-do-stuff/host" guy! It was this poorly animated Frog Ranger dude! I used to inflict harm and let the deers starve to death because of how f*****ing annoying he was. Nothing comes close to Sim City [x-ousand] (except maybe Sims) in simulation tho!

and why are we talking about pants? So is that another threat I have to worry about?

    1) carpenter ants
    2) vegetarian/vegan zombies
    3) Age of Mythology cheat-spawned creatures
    4) ROBOTS (I'm watching you Scud!)
    5) The Pantalonian Party

My worst fear would be Zombie/robot hybrid with ants in his pants but has a hobby to play Age of Mythology (and of course our beloved game Age of Kings).
