Hey guys,
Music really sucks these days.
I mean, seriously.
I don't what's wrong with the music industry, but it seems to me they are just getting crappier.
I can't stand those stupid singles they play on the radios anymore.
So, I was wondering if anyone knew of any band that sings and sounds like Muse's hit songs, like "Hysteria", "Time is running out", and "Plug in Baby". And by that I don't mean songs within their new album featuring "Knights of Cydonia"....
...which means that I would be delighted if you were to recommend rock songs, especially those that share the "Muse" traits: rebellious, energetic, and not trashy(like those "I love satan" rock or "I want to die" variety). I am amused by Steelheart, and will even accept songs similar to "Painkiller" by Judas Priest.
But I am not into songs like "Paranoid Android"(too dreamy), AC/DC (don't like vocal), Sum41 and their high-school-band-like-variety-that-always-sings-about-immatu re-stuff. Pop would be fine, but the thing is, I abhor idiotic repetitive songs like hey-ya and gimme gimme. Jazz is okay. Hip Hop- let's not get into that.
By the way, I do have albums from extremely famous rock bands as Led Zeppelin, Queen, Iron Maiden, etc and so it would help me a lot if you would refrain giving out those "legendary" songs, because I most likely have them. But I you would like to direct attention to some underrated songs by these legends, feel free.
Oh, last but not least, I really, really appologize if you were offended by anything that I've said above. I never mean to piss anyone off. It's just that I do get pretty emotional when it comes to judging music because I am very interested in the topic.
Thanks.
