And what makes Minnesota a tourist destination for 4th of July? I didn't see any demographic changes in my area. Then again, it sounds like my town's more populous than your place. In a smaller suburbs, you'd probably be more aware of different people.
Minnesota as a state isn't a tourist destination as far as I'm concerned, but my town holds a big parade and hosts flea markets/other assorted activities that attracts morons from all around the state.
Where the holy moose do you live anyway.
And have Morgoth stalk me? I don't think so, Clyde!

I'm gonna compete in my first Formula SimRacing race, in the advanced league, this weekend.

And my steering wheel just DIES on me, with only a few days till the race, screwing my preparation. Not under warranty, so I'm gonna have to buy a new one, couple hundred dollars - and it takes a few days to deliver, as I have been mucking around with it and am unable to fix it.

That's already on top of the fact that my really old speakers for the computer finally died yesterday. The left speaker stopped working a week ago, and the intensity coming out of the other was continuing to decrease until yesterday when it just stopped.

Now I'm forced to using even older earphones that are so quiet, even with every volume control on max, that I need to turn off the TV and not have the kettle boiling to hear my FSR car engine.

Obviously, if I'm unable to compete in these weekend's race, after a week and a bit of practice/preparation, I'm gonna be pissed.

Signed,
DaVe.

It is a well known fact that if all the money in Estonia was pooled, there wouldn't be enough for the transatlantic flight and bus fair to Minnisota. No worries.

I think I ruin my neighbor's day when I let my cats take a dump in their yard.
And what makes Minnesota a tourist destination for 4th of July?
When did that happen? I know that places like Excelsior attract some people. Though, last year, when my family went there, getting out of the place is a living hell, seeing as 1 out of 5 drivers there are drunk and just stand there. Luckily, we didn't travel there this time.

EDIT: Those people are most likely all from Minnesota.

Oh you just DON'T KNOW how much money flows into Estonia. Do you have any idea how cheap the alcohol is there compared to Finland? In fact it's so much cheaper that people will buy alcohol with way more money than they ever would in Finland. So assuming Morgoth is the Godfather in this conspiracy he's already got the money to HIRE people stalk on Aro. All he needs is a hint to find him! (Sorry morgoth, I guess I sort of ruined your plan?)

Want to know what I'd do? I'd lash out at him (because that's what you do when you're attacked), but the blow would have no force behind it (because he's a freaking kid and I don't want to hurt him), and then everyone would think I'm a jerk for hitting a kid, and the kid would think that he can go around fighting adults all he wants because they are weak, and I wouldn't even get the satisfaction of properly thrashing his skinny mullethead ass.

Somehow my actions always end in the worst possible result for everyone.

Um, if you answer his violence with counter violence all he'll learn is that violence is how people interact with each other?

Exactly! Kids are so incredibly impressionable that if you ever show them how actions have consequences, they'll forever think that violence is a means of getting anything done.

Yeah, but...HE'S A KID. It's like hitting a girl. You just don't do it. No, I'd probably strike him on pure instinct, but pull my punch at the last instant so he doesn't get hurt.

Why would you hit a grown male person? I don't think one age group or sex deserves hitting any more or less than the other. My point was exactly that he's an impressionable child and although he might not automatically draw wide conclusions from your actions, why would you do something that only demonstrates violence as an answer to violence? Punching a kid no matter how slightly demonstrates no less violence than fully punching an adult.

Hitting a girl being any worse than hitting a guy is something I wouldn't comment on, but for ****'s sake, I don't really think hitting a kid is the same as hitting a grown man.

Why are they different things, other than regarding the possible consequences? Violence is violence. Violence committed by a child is ofcourse a different thing since they mightn't fully understand what they do. Ofcourse there might be necessary violence in which case violence toward adults can be understood better than toward children. I'm not sure though what I think of this alleged necessary violence.
