...he/she/it can be from anywhere, movies, TV shows, cartoons, anything!
My (current) favourite has gotta be Pintsize, the lovable and mischievous ArthroPC from Questionable Content. There's nothing the little guy can't do - or at least try to do, and hilarity almost always ensues!
My favourite *actual person* is that of Dr. Spencer Reid, played by Matthew Gray Gubler in Criminal Minds, closely followed by Peter Gallagher's Sandy Cohen and Adam Brody's Seth Cohen, both from The O.C.
Now, spill. All of it.

You might want to reconsider using doublethink as an educational aid. Two plus two equals five does not a physicist make.
Good one. Only doublethinking 2 + 2 should not equal 5 but 8, using the metric system naturally...

thats where you're both wrong 2+2 can equal five If 2 is rounded to one significant figure then it's true value may be between 1.5 and 2.5 therefore 2+2 can equal anywhere between 3 and 5. that is mathematically true for all values. :P

You'll find funny things like FACTS in books
Facts, in a work of fiction? Oh you, you're such a comedian.

But surely that would be written as 4.0 (+/- 1.0)? Which is clearly not the same thing.
No. you are making the mistake of averaging when you should be giving an accurate result. 2 + 2 =/= 4 :P What do they teach kids these days...

Ridiculous. The accurate result is the one that takes into account the margin of error. Besides, you've just debunked your own 2+2 = 5 argument. You'll never succeed at physics if this is your idea of rigour.

No you fool, accuracy is how close you are to the true value, while precicion is the decimal places involved. You should notr judge who deserves what without the knowledge to support your arguement. :P

Yes, but you see the true value could lie anywhere between 3 and 5. Mine encompasses this, while your's does not.
How does your arguement encompass my truth? How does truth = beauty? Where did I put my false teeth > But seriously, accuracy isn't what the general public think it is. You should meet my physics teacher. He'll tell you I'm right :P

It isn't even correct to use the word accuracy in this context. It mostly comes into play with experimental evidence, where you may take more than one reading to get a more accurate measurement. Here we had the value defined as 2, to one significant figure. As long as the answer covered the range 3 to 5 inclusive (which mine did), it is perfectly accurate.
back to your original statement, margin of error is zero error. Not accuracy. Accuracy is 'closeness' to the true value. Which is valid in this context. Taking multiple readings is reliability. My only arguement is that 2+2 = anywhere between 3 and 5, not necessarily 4. 2+2 = 4 has infinite solutions, however there are also infinite solutions where that is not true.

Back to the original topic. Marv and Dwight from Sin City, and Brendan from Brick.
My another favorite is Ari Gold from Entourage. He's just such a dick.
"Especially awe-inspiring is the fact that any single brain is made up of atoms that were forged in the hearts of countless stars billions of years ago... These atoms now form a conglomerate – your brain – that can not only ponder the very stars that gave it birth but can also think about its own ability to think and wonder about its own ability to wonder. With the arrival of humans…the universe has suddenly become conscious of itself. This, truly, is the greatest mystery of all." - Rama

And how many times has the team been upset about his health and he's just been screwing with them Like one time everyone thought he had cancer and he just tried to get drugs? And then he switched his urine sample with someone else's who had syphilis or whatever He's a super funny character, but I'd definitely avoid his company if that kind of dude existed in real life. Bloody jerk
Some friends and I started a Rolemaster campaign at the end of last year and I made my character be a real jerk like House and it's actually super funny to have your character be a real dick.
EDIT: I just broke the record for the most smilies in a post under 1,000 words.
