Although they are adorable.
They certainly are. How could anybody resist those tiny little faces.

I like ducks. They are noble creatures worthy of our respect.
Geese on the other hand. I hate them. If it wasn't a federal offense I would kill every goose that I come across.

Ducks are smarter than they look. They even know which humans are more likely to feed them: elders.

They certainly are pretty smart, they do come running when they see me coming out of the garage.

Ducklings are the third-cutest thing on this particular planet! I wish I had a pet duck and I would dress him in a Scrooge McDuck costume.

I collect rubber ducks.
They're like yours, but less fuzzy and in cooler colours. And some of them are colour changing.
they are so cute, I once had some selvatic duck eggs and then the ducklings. They make adorable sounds and follow you like if you're their mother, and are extremely fluffy.

Yum!
booohoooo gwame is bad and makes duckling cry!
I had 5 of these, one of them died they were absolutely adorable, fluffy, and always made those acute "pee-pee-pee-pee" sound (I was trying to imitate the sound in english, birds actually don't pee). 1 of them still comes with his partner in the small lake I have in the garden, but my dog doesn't like them.

They are adorable FB. We have chickens, these little guys came from eggs a friend brought in and we put them under an old chicken (so she is not really their mother, but I didn't tell her that.) There are 8 babies in this photo.
They are now twice the size of their surrogate mother and 3 of them lay green eggs.

I love this thread. I expected to hear a Fattybryce rant on society's false illusions towards certain subjects, but instead I get a thread full of ducks.
My mom had ducks a few years ago, but one got eaten alive by an owl and the others flew away.

At a summer camp I work at we have a duck that has taken up residence at our lake.
We where having a church service one day and the duck waddled up and sat in on the whole service. He was then named Abraham, the religious duck.
This duck is a noble loyal bird. He has let me pet him. He has killed a crane. Also, he attacks Canadian Geese. A creature worthy of respect indeed.

They are very cute as well. We did have chickens, 12 bantoms in fact, but they got taken by a stout which sucked. Now we just got an old brown chicken like yours who comes in every morning and lays an egg behind our TV.

(I was trying to imitate the sound in english, birds actually don't pee).
That's probably why one of them died. Everyone needs to pee.

That must have been so hard on you to lose all your brothers and sisters 'Ro.
Also, I present another adorable animal -
...the hedgehog.

Some people think animals in clothes is cute. I dunno. My dog has a coat she wears when its like ten below and she needs to go on a walk, but other than that she runs around au' natural.

The baby is an orphan, and she almost died. We bottle raised her (goats milk in a wine bottle.) The young man who brought her to us was worried that she might get cold on the trip into the mountains. It was snowing up high in the pass, so he stopped and put his coat on the baby to keep her warm. He had just taken her out of the trailer and set her down when I took the picture. We don't believe in dressing animals in clothes either.
This is her last spring on her 3rd birthday getting fitted for what she is supposed to wear:
