I've recently noticed the "Age of King Heaven (AOKH)" team in Facebook. ONLY 2 ARE THE MEMBERS SO FAR! If anyone's interested, join the team! I've already requested, i guess you should as well (if you want, of course!) It may be fun, who knows? :S

I have about 8 forummers as friends on facebook. The fact is, most of us want to keep our real lives separate from our internet lives. As Tetsuo said when banning stroke last month, some people here use aliases due to their very private (or even public) lives, and do not wish for future employers to find out about their activities here. A deep facebook-search is fairly standard practice.

I can say for sure that Stroke is going to have a hard time finding a job. Very hard time.
There's no place I can be, since I found Serenity.

I won't join anything AOKH related on facebook. The few forummers I like and trust enough to have added on fb seem to share my understanding; fb = real world name, AOKH = NowhereT.
PS Stroke, say my real name once more and I leave AOKH except for the survivor thread and fruit bowl mafia.

Don't do it, T. Tetsuo will just ban him for 3 months.

I simply don't have the patience for his BS any more. I genuinely tried to be decent towards him but his trolling has got to the point where it seems malicious rather than just a weird sort of humour. I don't want to leave AoKH, but I cba with his childish crap any more. Besides, my grades would probably appreciate it if I left..!

To be perfectly honest, leaving because of one annoying forumer is rather childish.
I know it's childish, but I have to consider the impact my online life has upon my real life and future career. Like Popey says, employers look at facebook and run simple searches - it wouldn't take much to find my name here if stroke bandies it around so casually and I don't exactly behave professionally here, do I?
AoKH is quite time-expensive, so making that sort of commitment is only worth it if the disadvantages don't outweigh the enjoyment I get here. And before you start the whole "you could pop in occasionally" stuff - that doesn't work in forums IMO - there would be no continuity.

Yep
Haha, so funny.
Sometimes you do need to leave for a time, but you'll be back
Hey Coldviper, you're actually younger than I thought! And that former thread is funny since I remembered that people were happy to see you back here.

Seeing those old threads are a real trip down memory lane.
Haha, I actually did enjoy reading that old thread.
And that former thread is funny since I remembered that people were happy to see you back here.
Indeed, it mystified me.
Ah well, I've been able to keep it to about a bad thread every couple months. People tolerate me at least.

N-no. It really doesn't.
Rather, I think AoKH needs more FACEBOOK. I mean, put a Like button on every post. Who on your list WOULDN'T want to know that somebody said balls in a quasi-sarcastic manner that some may deem, at it's very essence, "defeatist"?
Lol, who is this guy?
He's apparently from Greece, and it looks like he slammed his head against his keyboard when typing in his name.
That said... it's more effort than Turty put in.

Quiet, F***ing Tard? You've gotten aggressive since you're promotion.
... make love to me.
Haha, so funny.
Damn... I was pretty mean to you in that thread. I mean, I agree with me, but considering I like you, I could've at least sugar-coated it... or maybe pillowed it. Gently caressed it. Until you wanted, no, NEEDED IT.

Seb can just edit out the mentions. Google doesn't cache them for a few days, Theo Radcliff.
ERRR I MEAN NOWHERE T.
(Theo Radcliff is the most British sounding name I could conjure up.)
And before you start the whole "you could pop in occasionally" stuff - that doesn't work in forums IMO - there would be no continuity.
Continuity? What is this, a novel? A community =/= continuity. You leave a community, but there will still be people who remember you when you return, and there will still be things to discuss. It's more like a sequel... you won't consider it as good as the original (rose tinted glasses), but you'll still enjoy it because Heath Ledger is being cast as Aro and he is just ROCKING it.

Theo Radcliff
Stick an "e" on the end and I like it
Yeah continuity wasn't really the word I was after - I mean how my interaction here is generally in terms of forum games or debates/discussions/pathetic circular arguments - the sort of thing you can't really drift in and out of.
Also, point of interest - how many forummers in the TC would you call "active"? My guess would be around 50, any advance?
