So it looks like the Mueller report indicates there was no collusion between Trump (just Trump, not the Trump campaign itself) and Russia. However McConnell has blocked its full release and William Barr (the AG) says the White House will get it first so they can redact stuff.
Wait, what? Why are they giving the accused the final result to redact stuff?
So Trump didn't collude with the Russians. Whatever, that's actually a good thing in a way, but giving the White House the report so they can make their own redactions and whatnot is fishier than a fishing boat loaded with cod. That and the fact McConnell has blocked its release says there is much more in the report than we're aware, and that more investigations, indictments, and prison sentences could be coming down the pipe if it's released in full.
My guess is that they're afraid of the rest of the info in the report. Trump might be free of collusion accusations, but so much more was caught up in the investigation, and that's just the stuff we're aware of. Look at how many people have been removed and indicted so far. I haven't done a comparison, but it's probably approaching Reagan Administration levels, and we're not even three years into Trump's administration. And then look at the people who jumped ship or "changed their minds"...Ryan, Chavetz (spelling, I know), Gowdy...why leave at the height of your political career or suddenly change of heart? Ryan for example...finally got the massive tax cut for the wealthy and tax increase on the poor and middle class (next couple years are going to get even worse for us regular Americans) that he wanted, and was in a position to start gutting social and welfare programs, especially with a maintained-right leaning SC, but then up and decided to not run again out of the blue. That's not modus operandi for someone like him, there's a reason he left when he did, and I doubt it entirely has to do with his new job.
Oh well. We're going to be stuck with a redacted report if it's even released, and our justice system and America as a whole will be weaker for it.
