Welcome to the SSC, 2011!
"Spotlight?" I hear you ask. "Definitely not the community spotlight incorporated into the editor?"
...Wait, how did you know that?
Essentially, it's a contest whereby you're given at least 640 minutes (with a little added extra time if contestants need it) to make a scenario featuring a forummer, and this month I give you...
Basically you're supposed to create a scenario featuring a forummer who has contributed positively to the AOKH society and has helped the site come a long way from its' dreary beginnings. Yes, this year you will be featuring me (as if there was any doubt) in your scenario. It is important that you give me credit in your scenario for allowing you to use my noble name in your work. Looping display instruction spamming "All Hail Watson" every 6 seconds works fine; I'm pretty modest.
Happily, anyone can participate, but there are certain rules to be conformed to while doing so.
- Your Passport details are a pre-requisite.
- At least one 5.0 Scenario in your blacksmith profile. If your score is even 4.9 or 4.8, please leave and do not return until you have designed something worthwhile.
- £5 for an entry fee, via PayPal.
- I am terribly afraid of losing. Should I come close to failing your scenario, I demand that you have a backup army of 22 million COBRA Cars hanging around to ensure that this does not happen.
- Trees are horrible. Winters are cold and a bit of global warming would do the Earth good anyway. However, I'm a lenient deity so you may place a maximum of 20 trees on your map at locations.
- No more than a maximum of 12 triggers. Any more just bore the player, and this is a mistake a good designer should avoid.
- You will lose anyways.
- I must be allowed to visit my desktop at 1:20:23.
- I am terribly interested in invisible flying forage bushes renamed as champions. I would love to see them featured in a good scenario.
As you might have noticed the judging is an extremely fair system that ensures all people get an even ground on the scenario.
It will be swiftly dealt with.
What prizes?
