Front leg movement seems fine but the rear seem to be not in sync. It like the behind legs have some jerk. The rider seems too static perhaps give him a small movement?

I think it looks pretty good! Perhaps slowing down the animation speed a little bit will look better?

rva, the animation looks very good, but somehow the proportions of the head and the body tell me it is an asiatic horse.
i would suggest the following - make two horses out of this!
1.make an asiatic horse - which has a more horizontal neck posture and the legs are only 85% of the actual length and the legs are 5% thicker.
2. make a euro-persian horse - the neck posture is 10% more elevated and the head is 8% shorter - the rest of the body should be ok!

rva, maybe a slow trapp would be faster and perfectly suited for the game, trapp is of course not so fast as gallop...

Thank you! I've seen most of this videos, but it was useful to watch them again, cause I have noticed how the head moving. I have updated the animation in my previous post. Hope it looks better now.

It looks nice movement is also good now both rider and horse,but how the bow is placed it looks kida unrealistic. It will look good if the unit is armed with a spear but for a bow I don't think it matches well.

Since you are doing your own style, why don't you render them larger?
I can't see much on the tiny scale, it's 20 years old.

Look at the mangudi bow position that looks best for me.
I would personally like to see aokish sized units(can use with vanilla units) but you can do any size you like.

i hate to intervene this time! but i feel i must say something - the horse size is ok on the vertical, but the horizontal size is not ok! you must make the body of the horse 15% wider and the neck and head at least double the actual thickness! it looks at the moment very ugly, but you can make it easily, i suppose...just look at the tarpans above and "feel" their proportions, also for such a horse the legs of the rider must be even more away one from another for allowing the animal to have its natural proportions!

I uploaded the smaller version to Blacksmith. The animation that I made for movement is based on trot. It is not walking. You just need to adjust the right frame duration in AGE. Concerning running animation as far as the rider doesn't use stirrups he can't ride fast. So I think the trot is a maximum speed for him. I'll perhaps try to improve the unit later.

The horse's gait looks fine. The horse could be a bit wider in the nose and it could use a little more team color, but overall this unit looks great.

Thanks! I know, there should be more player color for gameplay purpose, but I can't resist mine love for more natural (from my point of view) units look.

Mahazona your right its going to be a hard work.
But for my opinion the copy and paste works fits better to the game as new units made with custom animations and textures.
So i try my best to work clean as possible.

I totally agree cut past units fits best with the original units. Its good to seesee another unit modder here.
