There are many kinds of eye - candy ranging from simply using flowers to making complex ponds and mountain ranges. You are probably here to try and enrich your knowledge of eye -candy in scenario designing. This is a fairly simple ‘trick.’ Most good scenario designers should already know this. Unfortunately we are not all ‘good’ scenario designers and that is where this comes in.
When most people design a forest they simply lay down some appropriate terrain, spice it up and they are done. What most people don’t realize is that making a forest tree by tree, although time consuming, looks very good. Going to the Units > (Text Under Picture) These were made using the ‘Palm Forest Tree.’ They are the first type of palm available. They could be used for a slightly spooky forest or whatever you desire. These are all of the normal dead trees available in the game. The three on the right are from “Forest Tree” and the three on the right are from the special Gaia selections. These are great for making a winter forest or a graveyard. These are the fall trees available in the game. The two on the left are ‘Forest Trees’ and the one on the right is a special Gaia selection. Perfect for a fall scene These are the bushes that you can get from ‘Jungle Forest Tree.’ They are pretty good eye - candy and if you do it right you can make it look like a unit is standing in them for camouflage. This is a great eye -candy from the ‘Jungle Forest Tree’ that looks like a larger plant. It can be used to improve farms, as a water plant, or as many other things as the smaller plant can. The only disadvantage of it is that it won’t float on water. This concludes my article on Eye Candy Trees. I hope to see them in your scenarios. These are dead pine trees from the ‘Pine Forest Tree’ and ‘Snow Pine’ selections. They can be used to create a pine forest suffering from a disease or whatever you want.
