In my own opinion, I think that the Mughals of India and the Spanish and possibly the Native Americans (Aztec, Inca) would do beautifully in Age of Empires III, and the Mughals could have elephants and elephant archers, plus there would be cannons (much like the ballistas of Age of Empires I) which could be rolled to wherever you wanted. Of course, Britain would have to be in the game, because it was at this time that Queen Elizabeth was ruler of Britain. Also, the Portugese would do well, and so would the Dutch. Perhaps- perhaps - the Chinese or the Japanese would be able to make it into the game, and also the Persians. Ages could be- the Gunpowder Age, the Age of Discovery, the Age of Exploration, etc. The choices are endless, as there are so many important things which happened during this great era. As for the Mughals, (I'm Indian
) maybe Ensemble Studios could add the Rajputs of Northern India, and the Deccan tribes to the South. Of course, these are all just ideas, but who knows, maybe the designers might use these civilizations...My Two Cents.
