DEGISNING A VARIABLE SYSTEM:
The first step is to set the player starting variables Select a player OTHER than Player 1 (we'll use player 2) and enter the EXP (If EXP is used is your scn) ammount into any recource. This tutorial will use wood as EXP. Then, enter the attack into stone, and HP into food. Set the EXP for player 1 to the same as it is for player 2.
MAINTAING CORRECT VARIABLES:
To keep accurate numbers in your variable system, you will need to MAKE SURE that whenever you change attack, you change the variable accordingly. Same goes for HP and EXP.
BASIC MULTIPLICATION:
So, you decide to put a potion in your scenario, and you want it to temporaialy give you *3 attack. This is where things get complicated. Atctivate a looping trigger to tribute all of player 2's stone away to another idle player (we'll use player 3) 1 at a time and change the players attack 1 each time (DO NOT PUT ANY TIMER ON IT)! Have another looping trigger activate 1 with a timer of 1 that deactivates if player two has any stone left. Once player two runs out of stone, the timer 1 trigger will tribute it all back, then reset the process. Once it has gone 3 times through, deactivate it, and the player has three times his normal attack. To lower it, repeat the same process exeot lower the HP for each stone. MAKE SURE that player two ends up in possesion of the variable, NOT player 3.
I'll make a util soon, and note that this is a theory, I haven't prooven it to work yet. See what you can do with this yourself, the sky's the limit.
You want fries with that?
