Eye Candy Excellence
Eye candy is anything used to beautify a map such as plants and flowers. They can also include well-designed cities and armies. In essence, eye candy is used to make your scenario more visually appealing. This makes your scenario that much more enjoyable. Nothing is stranger to a player then to see two completely different types of terrain mixed together (such as bamboo in a coniferous forest of Europe). Unless your scenario is based on fantasy, catch up on your geography and make your scenarios more realistic. Also, be sure to use mix terrain that do go together, such as broken road and desert. This way, it gives your scenario a more vivid, yet sensible look. It is not hard to use eye candy. However, if you want the terrain of an area in your map to appear muddy, simply place enough Dirt Paths (found in Others) to cover the ground, and voila, you have just used a new "terrain."
