I was thinking about making a LOTR scenario. the only problem is that I need a map.
I'm not after a detailed map.
Just the places of the cities and stuff like that.
I'd do that myself but I can't find a decent map of middle earth since I lost mine from the BBC cassette set.
Just the rivers and stuff etc.
Also, know any good mods for LOTR.

Well, it depends... It's impossible to make a good LOTR scen on one map, since the map editor can only hold so much space... you should just make one map per couple of chapters. It dosent matter if it looks exacly like middle-earth. check the LOTR scens in the blacksmith if you want proof. Besides, you get a better feeling if you are using a map made my you.

A google search shows that there is a website dedicated to Tolkein maps:
On the subject of LoTR, we need to get one of the design teams to work on it! LoTR fans want to play a good, complete campaign. If nothing else, organize a design team for the task!

So far I've done from the very start to the speech. I'll be appearing in it several times under different identities. At the start i'm drado proudfoot and maybe if you answer a question I'll help you on your quest. Do you think I should do that?

I'd recommend The Atlas of Middle Earth by Karen Wynn Fonstad for maps. A truly excellent resource. Also, Tolkien himself created maps that can be found in the histories of middle earth (published posthumously), and his son, Christopher also has done maps.
I'm afraid I cannot continue with this project. It's too much for me, especially when I'm depressed. My idea cannot become a reality. It's a pity Ingo won't make a LOTR campaign. I may be making another map but viking just don't keep your hopes up.
