I see in many scenarios and campaigns when i recieve or capture a number of buildings, some units and some buildings for the villager to create is disabled? How do I do that? I tried clicking on disable all buildings from the "Options" menu in the scneario designer, but then the map goes black and the types of buildings i disabled were not visible in my map whenever i try testing it... Can anyone help?

Your description is very interesting, and I have never experienced what you described.
I'm interested in knowing if in fact those buildings are still owned by Player 1. If so this would be a fantastic effect, even if it's not the solution to your problem.
The 'Options' should work to disable buildings during the game. I haven't done any research on the feature, but noticed that some AI files were able to override the settings. Also, I noticed that I could not disable 'all' options for any 'build' AI.
I believe that to disable and save in each difficulty level is needed too. Only that notion only comes from one attempt at not having Hand Cannoneers created by a computer player. It took saving the scenario in each difficulty level, and other voodoo to stop the chosen AI from training them.

Thanks for the reply, but I meant is that I want to disable a unit to be built from that building... I dunno if I understood or not, or if you answered me correctly, but thanx for helping though!

Yes, then to disable the Units and the Technologies associated with them is needed. Maybe to follow some of the other superstitions I have regarding the Options too.
Just keep in mind what I said about AI's overriding the Options.

I probably do...I have a lot of sounds, but it may take a few days to get it over to you. There are some sound compilations in the AOKH Utilities section too, and there may be a good one there. If you do use one, please don't forget to credit the source material found at AOKH.

I have the same (or similar) problem. I try to disable all buildings, but usually the house, TC, blacksmith, siege workshop, and sometimes the university slip through the cracks and are available.

It's good to search for some of Guderian's sound packs. They contain great sound files, as well as sounds from the game itself.

The thing i dont understand is how to disable them... for example in the campaign "Prince of Persia", how did he disable all buildings except for the market, outpost and farm?

muerte Go to the options tab in the editor and click the buildings list, then just add the buildings you don't want to be available to the disabled list. You can do the same for units and techs

Well it should be finished by Christmas, but the testing will take quite a bit longer I think. I’m also considering adding something else that will slow me down, but it will be worth the wait. "that Cheats banndoning thing?" Not sure what you mean here, but most are just simple triggers like the accumulate attribute and destroy a unit that can’t be reached by player one, for SL I'm going in a different direction and doing something hilarious for those who cheat, especially for the cobra car, and even I R winner will mean U R loser. Many people say why bother, let those people ruin it for themselves, but it’s one of the things I’m known for and it’s mainly added just for one person who never plays my games without cheating Yes Connor I’m talking about you
