Thank you. I mean, Im making my scenario, and I want it to be good. Its good to have:
- Replayablity(alot of different types of quests)
- Im hoping a good map design
- Not the same old, hack and slash type
- A good storyline
- You choose how you play, how the game goes, what you pick changes te scenario
- And some other good stuff!
And I mean I just don't want this to be some ordinary scenario. Im not saying it will be any Ulio. But can ya give me some pointers to lead me in the right direction?

Side quests aren't all that neccesary if the story is good. The campaign/scenario could be linear and tell the story. If your scenario is going to be any good, expect to spend a prodigious amount of time working on it.

You're already on the right track by hagning around here. You'll be amazed how much you learn.
Making a good map will develope with time and experience. Play some good scenarios in the Blacksmith and look at the map design. From there start to play around in the editor and develope you own unique style.
There are a lot of ways that you can add replayability to your project. Give the player options with different outcomes that effect later event in the story. Most players will want to replay the scenario to try all the outcomes. Even without that if the project if fun players will want to play it again regardless.
Philip Dunscombe wrote a great article on Plotting a Story. Definetly worth a look if you want some ideas.

Well, I was focusing on the amount of hours one spends on a scenario. That's hard to track, though. I spent 8 months on my scenario, which is being playtested, but there was a whole month I did nothing on it. Ulio took well over a year to make.

Thanks, I may need it. And good luck with your new project, if you have one up and coming, but if not, good luck with one in the near future. (I hope you have one up and coming!)

Well I am off to Florida. For two weeks. And that means no computer! Noo! Well at least I get away from this cold Michigan weather. But I want to work on my scenario so bad. This will b though, a good organization period, I say. Well cya guys, I may get on for little bits here and there, until next time.

I think you have to find out for yorself what makes it good. But to answer your wuestion, just look st what they're rating you on- mapdesign playability balance creativity story/instrtuctions
also, this means that it doesn't have to contain side quests of ny kind. It could be B&D, FF, or anything you think up.
