- There are hotkeys in the editor that allow you to switch between players, in the same way that you can choose units. Just hit the corrosponding number.
- There is a bug in the editor that shows the entire screen in black, like unrevealed terrain, when player 8 is chosen. This bug also shows the hidden part of the map as the same colour as gaia units on the mini-map.

By themselves, neither of these things are really impressive, (except maybe the hotkey bit) but I know a great way to put the 2 together, and do a really great trick.

What you do is, when placing units/buildings/whatever of player 8's; select them in another player's menu, and put the mouse in the correct location on the screen. Then hit the 8 key on the keyboard, and click the mouse. This places the unit in the correct location, without having to guess.

Most of you will go whoop-dee-friggin-doo after reading that, and I can't really blame you. But it does have practicle applications. Because player 8's line of sight can only be seen, you can use this to make sure that units/buildings are invisible to him, and then delete the p8 unit, and replace it with a unit of the correct player. This would be especially useful to multiplayer designers, and single player designers, in certain situations.
There are a few limitations, however. Once revealed, that part of the map stays unvealed. Also, this only works with new scenarios.

Well, did I discover something new and cool; or am I just repeating previous efforts, and will promtly be flamed/owned?
