Although the "<..> <RED>" workaround is shown in the Chat Menu (), it is yet the best. Anyway, what is the maximum amount of characters in Display Instructions? I've been wondering..

Fadawah, is it always supposed to be 10 lines down, or just enough to get out of sight?

Just enough to get it out of sight.

When I do it "just enough to get it out of sight", it sometimes doesn't work. It's safer to do it until the scroll bar gets really thin. Also, what's the <SPACEBAR> for? I do it w/o that and it works just fine...

Here's something I wrote up a year ago.
Dialogues
Trigger 0 Objective: Your choice Trigger Description: Your choice Starting State: On Looping: No
Condition(s): It is your choice. Effect 0: Display Instructions Seconds: 6 per line Line: 0 Instruction Box: Whatever you'd want someone to say Effect 1: Activate Trigger Trigger: 1
Trigger 1 Objective: No Trigger Description: Blank Starting State: Off Looping: No
Condition: Timer Seconds: 10 or so Effect 0: Display Instructions Seconds: 6 per line Line: 1 Instruction Box: Whatever you'd want someone to say Effect 1: Activate Trigger Trigger: 2
Trigger 2 Objective: No Trigger Description: Blank Starting State: Off Looping: No
Condition: Timer Seconds: 10 or so Effect 0: Display Instructions Seconds: 6 per line Line: 2 Instruction Box: Whatever you'd want someone to say Effect 1: Activate Trigger Trigger: 3
The first trigger activates the dialogue, then the others are just what people say. You can just keep continuing on the pattern to keep the conversation going. Once you've finished the dialogue, you don't need to put an "Activate Trigger" effect at the end of the last thing someone says.
You can beautify the conversations, by using colours. Add the below to the beginning of the dialogues, to change the colour of the text from white to your choice.
<RED> would make >Red text <BLUE> would make Blue text <GREEN> would make Green text <YELLOW> would make Yellow text <AQUA> would make Cyan/light blue/aqua text <PURPLE> would make Purple text <GREY> would make Silver/Grey/Gray text <ORANGE> would make Orange text
If you have noticed the ">" in the red text, that was not a typo. It is a bug that always happens when using red text. But do not worry - the bug can be fixed!
To fix the bug, just change the "<RED>" to this:
<..>
<RED>
And copy everything, above this, and below the "to fix" line.
