###Check out Cycle Never Ends###
Strong guitar lead, phat bass, killer drums and awesome vocals make "the cycle never ends" an incredible tune... the song comprises of a strong intro, up-beat verse and catchy chorus with a melodic overtone. armageddon sky are an incredible band with a great sound...
I'm majorly into music so I have to review this now. I know it's very off-topic, but this topic is finished now, so I took it as an appropriate time to post. I'm sorry if I am vioating the CoC in any way. It's not a bad song for the modern rock scene, which is basically pretty bland.
Guitar lead: I didn't think that the lead was actually that strong, since the backup power chords overpowered it most of the way through the song. It could have used a little variance, too, since it was mainly just doing arpeggios to complement the backup. (Kinda the wrong way around.)
The bass: Well I could tell it was there, but wasn't all that special. (It only happens rarely.)
Killer drums: Mediocre. The drums mainly just set the beat for the song, instead of doing anything special. That does seem to be the trend these days, though, so I can't really complain.
Awesome vocals: The lead singer did have an OK range. If only his voice had been a bit clearer (ie: making use of his nose instead of plugging it up), he might've been pretty good.
Strong Intro: Actually, this was my favorite part of the song, since it was the only real guitar solo in the song.
Up-beat verse: Yeah, I was tapping my foot along. Can't complain about it.
Catchy chorus: It was pretty good, since the lead singer really made use of his range here, but he kept ending each line too suddenly. It could've been a lot better if he had put more breath into the last words.
Melodic overtone: Actually, not much about this song is melodic. I have to disagree here.
Overall, it wasn't a bad song. I'd give it a 3. It's creativity took the average a bit low, but it somewhat made up for it in playability. (Ha ha ha.) Please don't take offence at my rating, as I'm just reviewing the music in my own opinion.
