~~~THE RULES OF AOK BLACKJACK~~~
AoK Blackjack is very similar to traditional blackjack. But there are slight differences.
-No Insurance: In traditional Blackjack, the player can make an additional bet if a dealer Ace is showing. If the dealer gets Blackjack (21 with and Ace and a 10), then the player loses his/her initial bet, but wins the insurance bet. There is no such bet in AoK blackjack.
-Aces: In traditional Blackjack, aces are worth 1 or 11, making it possible to create hands such as 7/17. If the 17 half of the hand were to bust, the 7 would take the hit. So if you had 7/17 (note: this is called 'Soft Seventeen'), and your hit card was a 9, you would now have only a 16. In AoK blackjack, aces are worth 1 always, unless used to make 21 with a 10 (Blackjack), in which case they are worth 11.
-Payouts: In traditional Blackjack, Blackjack is payed out 2-to-1. So if you bet $50, and got blackjack, you would get paid an extra $75 with the initial $50 bet. In AoK blackjack, if you get blackjack, you get paid 1-to-1, or $50 for $50.
-Split, Surrender, Double-down: All of those actions cannot be done in AoK blackjack.
----How To Play----
-First, you make a bet by selecting the value you wish to put down. Clicking the berserks subtracts to your money and adds to your bet. The colors stand for different amounts.
Blue=$1
Red=$5
Green=$25
Grey=$100
Purple=$500
The maximum bet is $500. The minimum bet is $1. After you bet, you hand is dealt to you, and you see the dealer up card. From here, you can decide to:
Hit (Red Pavillion): Take a card to add to your hand value. If the value exceeds 21, you bust and your hand is dead.
Stand (Green Pavillion): Take no more cards, and see the dealer's hand.
After you chose to stand, the dealer's hand will be revealed. If the dealer gets 16 or less, he must hit. If he gets 17 or more, he must stand. When the dealer makes a hand and stands, whoever has the larger value hand wins. If you win, you win double your bet. If the dealer wins, you lose your bet. If the two hands are equal in value, it's a push and no one loses or wins any money.
After this, another hand of AoK blackjack begins. Good Luck, and see you at the table!
