Alright. I guess I'll have to abandon that notion. My original reasoning behind it was that having each of hundreds of units in your screen contributing their attack sounds could be make it difficult for the computer to process all those sounds.
I had hoped . . . but i guess I'll just have to live with the lag, the darned lag.
