I were wondering if its possible to create a unit where another just died. Lets say you control a archer, you move him around, could you then kill him and with a trigger create a new unit where the archer just were killed?

Do you have only this unit like in a RPG or many units?

Yes you can. Where it was just killed? You're gonna have a lot of triggers.

On a 256x256 map, I wonder how many triggers that would take! Even copying with AoKTS would be hell. Still though you can brag about 36,951 triggers

ah "where" I didn't read ahah XD you could need a triggers for every tile (or check if it's in a zone, then in which sub-zone it is etc.)! I suggest you to better make a point from which all new archers come (if it's a RPG, you could change it according to the point at you arrive)

or you could just use data editing and set the unit's dead unit ID to whatever you want

lol it works XD (edited with GeniEd2) but if you want to make a trigger based on the unit's death it's difficult because it's not always detected... Then, I'd not suggest to modify the .dat only for doing a scenario

Hmm... On a 256/256 map that would mean: 65536 Triggers 131072 Conditions 131072 Effeckts...
I would have gone bored after the first 10, and after those 10 there are just 65526 left. Making progress maby I shold conti.... NEVER!!!
That would have taken sooo long time, I think I`m going to leave those triggers for someone else!

Not even AoKTS would be able to change the boredom involved by much. However, may I just say that if you were insane enough to even try this, feel free to brag about your 65,000+ triggers in your scenario!

The editor starts lagging at around 3500 triggers. I can't imagine 65,000.

Those who include thousands of triggers in their scenarios appear to have way too much time and devotion in their hands!
