Wow, that didn't take long!
Hey guys. One of my new campaigns is calledDesigner vs Design, and it's probably the only campaign/scenario that uses a map smaller than 10x10. Don't let that make you lose interest, though. It is puzzle/RPG game with a little fighting, but still provides good gameplay.
Anyway, it's about a guy named Darren who is a unit just placed down on the editor. But the designer doesn't like him, so he was just about to delete him. When all of a sudden, Darren jumps right out of the way! He runs up the road as fast as he could, and right when he was just about to garrison into a Teutonic Town Center, the designer deletes it! He also minimizes the application and while using Trigger Studio, and decides to make the map smaller than a Cathedral! Now Darren is just stranded there! But the designer won't kill him. He decides to torment him with his "tricks" and tasks. Can Darren survive and run away? Play and find out...
NOTE: You can play from the Designer's side, or the Design's side.
The story is still very flexible, therefore can change to make it better.
I have a few questions, still on the map design, an AI, and playtesting. Here:
My first question: Should the game take place in a Japanese setting or a British setting? I'm asking this because I've made two versions of the game, one in the British setting and one in the Japanese setting. This is really just an opinion of which you'd prefer to see.
Here are the results so far:
British: 6 - hailstorm55, Crossbowman, Lord Basse, Scuddles, Scipio, shadow06031992
Japanese: 3 - Rebel Troop, sly_guy, Sir Desquode
England wins!
My second question: I am horrible at creating AI's and I was wondering if someone could create an AI that can allow you to taunt and make things happen. This is important for the designer's part of the scenario!!!
And finally, some playtesters that seem interested is always nice. The slots look like this:
Playtesting slots:
sly_guy - Waiting
Rebel Troop - Probation
Crossbowman - Waiting
shadow06031992 - Waiting
ZayanK - Waiting
Thunder 77 - Waiting
TheTrebuchet - Waiting

I think by 8 playtesters, I'll close the slots. Or not...
Things for playtesters to do:
-Play the game (don't distribute the game unless it is out in the Blacksmith)
-Comment about the Balance, length, creativity, map, etc.
-OPTIONAL: Add additional music to the game
I will add more yobs (or some of you call it "jobs") if I can think of any others.
If you're one of those freaky people that like to browse the forum but don't have a Heaven Games account, too bad!
