Hi all, I've been playing the conquerers expansion since its release and have fiddled with the map editor on and off. This forum has always been a great help so thanks to you all.
for a specific scenario, I need one particular character to be immune from the monk's conversion. I have solved this by using triggers specific to the monk's ownership--once the monk's side owns the specific unit, the ownership is switched back. This is a limited way for the scenario.
Is there a better way of making a unit immune from a monk's conversion? Is there a way of making the unit immune to all monks rather than indivdual civs switching back ownership?

For more extreme ways (to make it so that monks cannot convert at all) disable the Dark Age techs in the Options section of the editor. I may have got that wrong, but I'm almost certain disabling one of the two Dark Age technologies removes the conversion ability from monks.
However, this stops them converting anything at all. For a single unit, you would need the change-ownership trigger or to make the unit a hero.
The change-ownership trigger would work fine, I think, except that it would mean the target unit would cease to be affected by future armour and weapon upgrades from the blacksmith, or any other researched bonuses.
