I am making a custom campaign- I try to set the effects for when the Difficulty is "Hard", but it displays them even in an easiest scenario! I don't understand.

It is sort of complicated but it works like this:
When you set Hard as a condition, it will also apply to Moderate and Easy (or whatever they are called).
When you set Moderate as a condition, it will also apply to Easy.
When you set Easy as a condition, it will apply to no other difficulty levels.

Basically, to circumvent this you have to use the following trigger set up:
Trigger 1
Difficulty easy
Disable trigger 2
Disable trigger 3
*other effects*

Trigger 2
Difficulty moderate
Timer: 1
Disable trigger 3
*other effects*

Trigger 3
Difficulty hard
Timer: 2
*other effects*

That should fix your problem.

I know that, but for instance, Say my triggers are like so:

Difficulty=Standard
Create villager.

Difficulty=Moderate
Create Galley
Create Galley
Create Galley
Create Galley
Create Barracks

Difficulty=Hard
Create Elite Eagle Warrior
Create Elite Eagle Warrior
Create Elite Eagle Warrior
Create Elite Eagle Warrior
Create villager.
Create villager.

When I go into play them as a scenario as Standard Difficulty, my Hard difficulty ones show up!

I actually read your post 3 times if you must know, I am not the ignorant type. I always read the FAQs, ToS, Stickied threads, etc, before even signing up.

After coming back 30 minutes later and reading your post, I finally got it.

The condition: Difficulty Level - Hard is actually useless. Because whatever you did it will always be activated. Except if you play standard game with hardest difficulty.

Actually with Kor's help I was able to make it work. The trigger disable appears to be helpful.
