I also find it painful, unless I knew it was garbage in the past. Then I love it.

I searched some old computers for sound files to restore blacksmith submissions and found some designs I did in 99 (AoE) and early 2000 (AoK) before I discovered this site. However, I believe I deleted most in the past and I am happy that I never submitted them. Nostalgia, yes it brings back old memories. The first scenario I played here was Roland's Quest by The Rasher, which I replayed lately. I believe anyone playing it today would not consider it special but I was impressed, the sequence with the tower, freeing the boat etc. but the most impressive was a very simple trick, a monk on a cathedral, the first healing station. My jaw dropped seeing this the first time remembering what I tried in the past with freeze, stop, patrol, and character to 'None' (no AI) to prevent a monk from following wounded units and picking up relics. No other trick has comparable memories.

The flooding trick was by Dark_Warrior_1_ in Wrath of The Dark Lord (Bug Fix v1) and the ice breaking trick does not work as intended it is buggy. I will finish my review for that when I have time.

Ingo has not invented all tricks he used by himself. Not at all.
But he gives proper credit in his campaigns for those who are the real inventors.
