I'm working on my first map/campaign and I had a trigger chain that worked yesterday but refuses to work today. After gutting the triggers I set up today and then deleting and recreating the two triggers involved with my problem, I've run out of ideas for resolving the problem and need some ideas for how to fix the issue.
I'm not sure how much detail to express about the triggers but the way they worked yesterday, was that if the player brought the hero character and an optional Petard, one event chain would begin, if the player didn't get the optional Petard, another event would trigger. Right now, regardless of if the player gets the Petard or not, it triggers the event associated with not getting said Petard.
Right now they're set up as follows:
Condition 1: Own objects
Source player: Player 7
Object list: Petard
Quantity: 1
And then 4 Effects including one that deactivates the trigger for the next task
Condition 1: Own objects
Source player: Player 7
Object list: Petard
Quantity: 0
And then 6 Effects including one that deactivates the trigger for the previous task
Both triggers start out Off and are turned On by the same trigger.
I've been having quite a bit of trouble with the editor itself, examples being I'm unable to place units for player 8 as selecting Player 8 on the Units screen makes the map go completely blank until I select another faction and certain triggers require me to set them multiple times before they actually work. I was wondering if this might be the problem and if there was any way to fix this.
