I am a regular visitor here, but never really registered. The map and people here inspired me to create a map. I wont call it totally unique, its a mix of features from CBA, PAATBLOOD, ANCIENT TD and few small scenarios.
Lets get down to what the issue.
I want that as the players gain razes, technology researches are done. I know the triggers, they are very simple but I am looking for suggestions on what Kind of researches should be completed on each raze or after a couple of every raze.
Some info that might help:
As in Paathblood and Paatblood, the units are spawned depending on the unit placed in a specific area.
To start with players get to choose from, chu ko nu, long-bowman, teutonic knights and hulsarks. As they gain kills, more units unlock and thus finally they have Mangudai, War Elephants, Jannisary, Conquisider and Memulke. Apart from new units, they also advance in AGE as they gain kills.
They have villagers who mine gold. To start with, each one gets 4 villagers and a mining camp in a different region so they cant fight with each other and kills villagers.
They can exchange this gold for upgrading their castle (which they have to protect) and create towers inside the base. They can increase AP/HP for these towers and also for their units. Apart from these, they can buy special units or heroes (GK, Herald, Williams, Neveski, Robins, Lorraine etc.).
Finally there are trade carts at the bottom that gather gold from gaia markets on the other end of the map.
I thought of giving technology researches for upto 10 or 12 razes. But I have no idea what can these be. Can I have some suggestions please :-s
