At long last, after 4+ years of tireless work (and many breaks as well), Stormwind Studios is nearly ready to release our team project,
This scenario has been playtested for years by various members of SWS, and nearly all issues should be ironed out. However, as a designer, you inevitably miss things or get used to playing the scenario a certain way that players who are unfamiliar with the scenario might not. Thus, a round (or more) of outside PT is required. Now that we have reached the 99.99% point, we are now looking for outside playtesting.
We are looking for experienced, committed playtesters who are willing to commit plenty of time to playtesting and write detailed reports and feedback. The amount of replayability in this scenario is quite large, even revolutionary for AoK. All told, you could play the scenario about a dozen (or even more) times and be guaranteed a significantly different experience each time, given the various choices and quests available. With a scenario of this much content and depth, you must as a playtester be willing to play the scenario multiple times and provide a significant amount of commentary and feedback.
Naturally, asking one single playtester to play the scenario a dozen or more times is a bit (gross understatement here) much- we've already done that several times over, and it's a huge time investment (hence 4 years of development). For now, we're looking for up to 5 playtesters- hopefully that gives us enough feedback and plenty of different perspectives and examples of gameplay choices if you all play the scenario around 3-4 times.
This scenario is not your average game of AoK, and there is a bit of a learning curve to it, but I think it's fair to say that most everything is self-explanatory if you read the hints and scouts (as well as the backstory). Don't feel discouraged if you struggle a bit your first time around. We do request, however, that you all try the scenario on all difficulties, as that alone drastically alters your experience. After 4 years of development, a few more months aren't going to kill us (especially given our RL jobs and studies taking so much time anyway), so we're willing to be flexible and (somewhat) distant with the PT deadline. We do want to get this released in 2015, though
- This scenario is compatible with v1.0c or any UserPatch version, however your experience may slightly differ depending on which game version you use (I'll comment more on that below). Please do not use any mods while playing, though.

-If you play in v1.0c, some red-colored dialogues will have the '>
-If you play in UserPatch, some red-colored dialogues will have the first letter cut off. For example, "RYLUS" might appear as "YLUS".
Just know that we know of this issue. When finalizing everything, I will split the file into 2 versions- one for UserPatch and one for v1.0c and make the necessary edits so that the dialogues appear as they should. It should not affect the gameplay in any way so I'm willing to leave it until the end (because there's no way I'm making whatever fixes are necessary after PT to 2 separate files when I can wait to split them until later and just deal with one file in the meanwhile)
Again, we're preferably looking for committed, experienced playtesters who can give extensive feedback as this scenario, having 4+ years of work go into it, is a bit of a behemoth. Please sign up if interested and I'll add your name to the list. Please either provide your email in your post or, if uncomfortable with making your email public, shoot me an email (my email is in my profile).

Let's say for now that we're shooting for a playtesting deadline of April 1. However, depending on everyone's real life schedules and such, I'm more than willing to extend the deadline or shift it completely
Thanks in advance!
