If a unit is moving through a gate that has additional life points through a trigger added, the gate's life points return to the standard. What should be done to keep it unchanged?

Incase you are buffing Fortified Gates, then that is a bug in the game and it will end up burning down to 1 HP when passing it multiple times.

You can change the HP of all gates of a player in UP 1.5 with a research-style effect, then opening/closing doesn't make a difference either. This solves the problem unless you specifically want to boost one gate, but not another.
The problem seems to be some mix-up between fortified and normal gates - you can notice that the graphics of the middle part of the gate change to that of the normal gate, and each time it's openend/closed it's multiplied with about 0.68 (The change from 4000 HP -> 2750 HP)

to me...
It happens this:
if I change ownership of a gate to me, it loses life when crossed.
if I pass through an allied gate, it loses life when crossed.
They are NOT boosted in life in any manner.
Only one gate has infinite life because of cutscene needs.
Only solution: at the start of the game create MY gates in the location of allied gates (that are not there) and then change ownership to ally.
Only in this way the gates dont die.
And thats why people told me that walls and gates are different and ugly: because I am forced by this bug to create my gates and pass them to a player with different walls graphics...
