Heyo. I was trying to create a condition that would check a player's civilization. Like, if Aztecs then etc but the base conditions are pretty limited. Any tips on working around this? I have a pretty neat idea and I want to do it right but I'm not very familiar with AoE2s editor. Used to a lot of work in WarIII's editor, though.
Thanks!

You can do it with the ai script, first you detect the civ, then send a Ai signal from the script to the game, where you set a trigger to detect that signal.
This makes possible to make something happen as the selected civ is what you said.
This is just a very general explanation, for real piece of codes just refer to other threads and ai commands list, it is not difficult.

Well that's an AI script, yea? What I want is for the scenario to say hey this player is Franks civ, for example, then change ownership of specific units based on the civ.
I don't think it's possible to change a players civ in game and that is something I am also looking into. Thanks for the reply though!

Oh that's a good way as well...did you try it, does it work?
