I am trying to create a trigger at the start of the game (when player only has town center, 3 villagers and a scout) that will do something as soon as they build one more building. It works if I specifically use:
trigger example 2: but i'd rather be more general to just say buildings. for instance: or You would think trigger 3 and 4 would work at the start of the game, because the player only has (owns) 1 building so far: the town center. However, the trigger (3 or 4) kicks off immediately. Why is that?? I only have one building so far. Am I doomed to use several specific triggers like examples 1 and 2 for every specific building? I hope not. Any help appreciated.
trigger example 1:
owns object
object list type = buildings
object list = house
quantity = 1
owns object
object list type = building
object list = lumber mill
quantity = 1
trigger 3:
owns object
object group = building
quantity = 2
trigger 4:
owns object
object type = building
quantity = 2
