I'm making a campaign about Reynald de ChatÓllon, and here's the problem.

Reynald is supposed to survive until "episode 5" where he gets decapitated by Saladin.Unfortuenately, I can't make the triggers work so that you are defeated when Reynald dies. How do I do?

There are four civs here:
Reynald de ChatÓllon (Franks)
Saladin (Saracens)
Damaskus (Persians)
Citisens of Gaza (Saracens)

Reynald his all by himself, the others are allied against him.

There's the picture, can you fix it??

Baaaaaaa for now!

Pretty easy.....

trig: startingn
condition: destroy object (reynald) (specify player)
effect: declare victory (enemy player)

The problem with this trigger is that it won't work anymore if the enemy that should be declared victorious when the hero dies is already destroyed then.
It would be more safe if you made three triggers, one for every enemy, I think it wouldn't matter than anymore because I can hardly imagine some gaia units killing that hero.

I have got another question...is the campaign supposed to end after that scenario ? Or does it become unhistorical if the player wins ? Or is it as good as impossible to win (for example you only have the hero, walled in and surrounded by enemy bombard towers or something) ?

I'm sorry about my bad English.

Instead of having three seperate triggers you have one trigger with three effects.
condition 1: destroy object (source player whatever)
effect 1: declare victory (source player whatever)
effect 2: declare victory (source player whatever)
effect 3: declare victory (source player whatever)
or you could have 1 effect and put an enemy unit in some trees or something.

The game is supposed to end when Reynald dies.

The game starts with Reynald and 8 Frankish Pals. alone.
Then they have to explore to find gaia units (vils. and such) to allow them to create a base.
They win by destroying the saracen wonder.
