These are the things that I would like to see in an RPG:
1.
A nice looking map, with lots of eye candy.
2.
A good tested scenario with as few bugs as possible.
3.
Looping dialogues, if possible all.
If not (or contra productive in some places) the speed of the progress of the other dialogues should be decided by the player (This was invented by the "Lighthouse Creations" scenario design team and used in their first scenario).
4.
The ability to speak with every allied character on the map, even if they only say a quite meaningless sentence.
5.
Multiple ways to win the scenario, quests that can bring advantages but are not necessary to win.
6.
An interesting storyline with unexpected changes.
7.
Some humor in some places of the scenario.
8.
As much time to explore the map and talk with persons as I want - that means for me no food eating systems, as I always find that I haven't got enough time, and so I'm not able to really enjoy the scenario if there is a food bying system.
I'm sorry about my bad English.
