Has anyone read the Prydain Chronicles and thought of designing a campaign based on these books? I've read them for the first time within the past couple of months, and have only 150 pages in The High King left to read to finish the series (not counting the Foundling and Other Tales of Prydain).
This would make a great campaign idea because there are no imaginary creatures (minus Gurgi, of course) and the setting is Medieval. The hero editor in the expansion pak makes it possible for individual characters to have names and customized hit points.
Is there anyone who would be interested in a campaign based on these books?

Is that the best anyone can give me? Hasn't anyone read any of these great books? If not, you don't have to say so, because I'd be pretty ashamed too.

I first read the Prydain chronicles when I was about 10 years old, and have read them many times since. I think creating the campaign based on them is a wonderful idea, and would love to try it when you're finished.

Shame on me. I haven't read the Choronicles. ;-)
Am I correct in assuming that the series is another retelling of the Aurthurian Cycle? If so, I'm currently working on one based on a similar concept. It will follow the legend from the Folly of Uther through Arthur's battle with Mordred, based primarily off of Excalibur and the Mists of Avalon.
