1. can someone please tell me how to create a file with the .ai extension? I am trying to modify an existing script to understand creating ai's, but am lost on this one step.
2. Is there a way to see the AI files already installed in AOK and the conquerors.
Thanks in Advance

I understand there must be 2 files, 1 .per and 1 .ai
But when i create an .ia extension it shows as a paintshop pro file and I cannot find it when editing my scenerio <sp>. Where do i choose the ai name? All I am offered is none and standard. Am I fishing in the wrong pond?

Save it as a text documentwith the .ai exstension on the so you should have to like this example.ai example.per .ai is the blank document. and then move them both to your ai folder hope this helped
If you are using Notepad as the text editor, make sure it is not saving the filename as filename.ai.txt. There is a pulldown button area on the filename selector called "Files of Type:"; make sure you select "All Files" instead of "Text Documents (*.txt)". (And also make sure that the AI files are in the AI folder as ASM said.)
Thanks for the help. Your tips helped. The other part of the problem was, i added the files while I had the program open (I hit alt + tab to go to explorer).
