I wanted to no how you can make water appear like Ingo van Theil did on " The Kings Best Men."

Well, if I am not mistaken you "create object" in most cases a bridge piece and "remove object" right after it (both effects) ,in this case the bridge pieces you just created. Set view point to somewhere else and nobody see the bridge created and removed.
Additional remove any objects that would have drowned.
Think that's it. If I not right I am sure someone will correct me ).

Not sure how he did it but the common way to get water is the "Remove Bridge" trick (you put down a bridge and then remove it with triggers, water will appear where the bridge was. However, you can walk on the water).

yes, that's the way Ingo did it. Takes a lot of work if you want a large flooding.
