Hello all,
I have a question about training a self-created unit:
- How can i train a unit which i changed with Genied2(advanced)?
I changed El Cid(hero) for example into a so called 'Buffalo Rider'(mix of the iron boar and battering ram, i used El Cid as main unit because i don't use that unit a lot). Now i want to get this unit trainable in the Castle.
I already gived the 'Buffalo Rider' a free trainingslot (4 i though?) and as building i gived the ID of the Castl (ID of castle = 82).
But i still can not train this unit.
Any tips?

Excuse me for a very stupid question... Tell me where to put the folders from the archives of the scenarios or campaigns, or give me a link to the FAQ where it is explained by detail.
Because I put them right in the game folder, but sounds from the Sounds folder does not played during the game.
Once again sorry for the dumb question.

I'm not sure what the right place for this is, so I'm just posting here.
I was playing through the Genghis Khan campaign, and I noticed your walkthrough for Scenario 3 recommends throwing Cavaliers and Light Cavalry (along with the obligatory Mangudai) against the various Chinese players. This seems like a mistake to me, since -- at least when I play -- the Chinese have a real yen for Pikemen and Cavaliers, which will turn your Cavaliers and Light Cavalry into red stains. Wouldn't it be easier to just make Camels/Heavy Camels (paired with the obligatory Mangudai)?

hi im very new on modding and i have a problem whit AGE 3 and FE expantion, when i edit the file empires2_x1_p1.dat from the folder games/forgotten empires/data nothing happens, and when i delete that file the game steal running, and when i edit the empires2_x1_p1.dat from the data folder from de aoe conqueros nothing happens neither, but when i delete that file the game dosent work, i trie this whit difernts units and buildings and nothing appens, i dont have problem editing FE HD editition can any one help me, and sorry for my bad english.

I'm sorry I thought this was trhead to questions like, if I may clarify, i want say that the problem was that when you put reaserches on feudal age the unit appaers avalible on imperial edge idk why thanks for awserme and told me where i have to ask, thanks i love this web.

Hello , im new in this forum and new in modding and i have a problem. When i add an unit based on another unit ( I want to make an elephant mounted hand canoneer based on the elephant archer) , when im in the editor and place an elephant archer and a elephant HC , the 2 units are selected instead of only one. Also , the HC has no shooting sound. Can someone help me? thanks!
