I made this topic for two reasons: to chat, and see if you come up with better ideas than me.
Firstly post the top 3 changes you would make, then feel free to post what else you would do if you could
What I Mostly Want
Changes I believe would be well
- Husbandry Changed from +10% base speed to +15%. Research Castle Age.
- Bloodlines Changed from +20 hp to +13% hp. Research Feudal Age.
- Light Cavalry, Hussar base speed increased by 5%.
- Archer Ring quarters the missed shots instead of all, fire faster.
- Mayan civilization change. . . Longer Resources Removed
- Nomad parameter allowed on custom map scripts
- MFO@CoveTwo fixedup, made a standard map
- Imbalances on existing standard maps fixed up where possible
- Megarandom Added to existing map scripts
- Navy Balances changed- Fireships best defensively, galleons good offensively, demolition ships kill all, canneon galleons cannonball fast like bbcannon
- Gillnets from AOFE added
- Woad Raiders can't glitch through stuff anymore
- Bombard Tower costs +50 gold, +25 stone (I get the feeling that sticking a cannon up there in the first place would necessitate a little engineering in the structure)
- Bombard Tower implements Userpatch action (does a lil damage to rams)
- 'Town Bell' for ram and transports.. Drum Beat or something, hit it once to tell soldiers within five tiles to garrison into rams
Below is where I get off track, some good some bad ideas
- Map that has varied terrain for FFA added.
- Elite Eagle Warriors bonus against Cavalry changed to +3
- Plumed Archer Ranged cut by two, LOS unaffected.
- Franks given a UT that reflects their history of wine. lol?
- Spearmen, Pikemen and Halberdiers given minimum range of 0.2, given maximum range of 0.4
- Onagers destroy trees!?!?!
- Scorpion bolt can only hit one ship; does same bonus damage as ship based bolt.
- A War Galley has 1.5x more hp than a Galley, A Galleon has 1.5x more hp than a War Galley. Galley weakened, maybe Transports available in Dark Age. Fireships
Personally I want a better random map scripting. I believe AOM and AOE3 have that.

What I Mostly Want
1. Better RM Scripting. I would like to see grand maps with function that are as good as human ones. The parameters are also noticably lacking if you want to establish a FFA sort of thing that puts one player into a great zone of comfort, or mountains, cliffs, putting others on islands.. etc.
2. The ability to specify percent variance if a percent is split up between two or more groups. If for example, I give 30% of the land to three players, Instead of all getting 10%, I would want one to get 15% while the others get maybe 7 or 8. I could also maybe use this for water.. mauybe i want one big lake, and one small lake, but I dont care as long as they ADD UP to 30%, and are in two separate clumps.
3. A guide that told me how Yucatan was acheived. That is a mystery to me, although probably not other people.
