Hello! Exactly what happends when you update a campaign. Will the old file be deleted? Will the review be deleted. Will the number of downloads be se to "0" again? just asking because i wonder i i should bother to make an update of my masterpiece "The adventures of Sven Kringla". /Capa
The number of down loads and the reviews stay the same, unless you request otherwise. What happens to the old file... Hmm I have no idea. I suspect they are kept for a while, and then cast into the fires of hell during routine maintenance
It's always worth updating if it improves the campaign.

Well, when I posted the updated version of my campaign, the older version was deleted. Although, I didn't use the update form...
Maybe you should ask Tanneur.

Ok thanks! And i wasn`t planning any big improvments, just adding background music, fix a few bugs and maybe extend the storyline a bit. ;-) /Capa

You use the Update form on the Blacksmith.

Download a copy of your old submission before updating, because it will be lost. Then just use the update form.

"Will the old file be deleted?"
Yes, if you use the update form it is automatically deleted. If you upload it as a new campaign I will remove the old/obsolete version. That's part of my job. The blacksmith is more user friendly like that, it is in the interest of the visitors to download only the new version and who would be interested in comments/reviews of old versions?
"Will the review be deleted."
If you upload it as a new download, yes together with the old version. If you use the update form, the review stays, but you can ask Anastasia, Ingo or me to have it removed or the reviewer does an edit or you are just happy with the old review.
"Will the number of downloads be se to "0" again?"
If you use the update form the number of downloads stays and new downloads are added, with any new download you start with 0 again.
