I've been thinking Is there anyway to change the armour of a unit with only triggers? Then change it back? I really dont want to mess with Genie or taunts, so is there anyway to change Armour, then after a set condition reduce the stat again?

Lol, Greo, you're a huge help. If you know, then post it or don't post it. Don't give some quizzical phrase that leaves us in doubt that you even know it in the first place.
The way I would do it would be to give the player a unit from a computer who has all armor upgrades researched. Then make the unit given's statistics equal to the unit the player previously had. Then, when you want to take out the armor, make a unit for the player, or give a unit to the player from someone with the armor level you desire.

Really, your first post was no help whatsoever, it didn't achieve anything.
Noobo: You can achieve the same effect by changing all enemies' attack by -1, and then changing it back. Obviously if you want to simulate range armour you would only alter the attack of ranged units, and the same goes for melee.
