There should once be a moment that we all work on one project. Yes, we all know about Piece by Piece.
There is a way to make that into something interesting.
Though for me every part of the genre the map have to be about is largely based around the rpg-adventuring genre.
With a fully filled map done there is hardly a chance to edit it to keep people entertained over a long period.
That is a little sad at some point.
Despite maps able to be quite large nowadays (255x255 is reachable) there still is a chance one would need multiple maps to really achieve their goals. Think about forests that you pass and shops that area around. They take considerable space. What then becomes a difficulty is to find a way to connect the different maps. Since there are ways to use taunts or clicking things to think of a password to pass over information to another scenario there still is room to cheat this by looking at triggers.
The idea to make a unique password that is randomly generated doesnt work all that good too. In the first scenario the password will be created just fine, but in the scenario you are moving to you try entering the password and get several goods back. Since it works with random password, you have to do many checks for each possible outcome in the triggers. Again this is easy to cheat.
Now to make connecting scenario's fun and make therefore larger maps.. I wonder if there is a nice way to do this.
It would allow a bigger adventure, though slight annoyance at some point. As you warp back and forth between the several maps. With this in mind, it is a no-go that this whole thing is part of a campaign as a campaign forces the player in what scenario it should move to all because of the order the scenario's become available.
It is however possible to restart an earlier campaign after unlocking more scenario's to do a certain quest and then move several scenario's on to get back to the adventure you were playing. This all creates many changing in scenario's. But not only that, the majority is the problem that the codes to get certain items back you obtained in earlier scenario's will change immense. Those all have to be very unique. And so, with all the struggle and the cheating in mind it seems unforgiven to even try such thing out. Is there a way to fix this situation?
