The Sandyman himself, with his red hot suspenders. My #1 regret from E3 was not bringing along my copy of Hyperspeed, one of my all time
favorite PC games, so he could sign it. AOKH forumers know him well as a man who knows at least something about everything. ES 3D artist Chris Van Doren said
that if he was ever on "Who Wants to be a Millionare", Sandy would be his lifeline. In one inspiring moment after the show one day, Sandy stood up and said, "When I was at Microprose
, if you sold 100,000 games, that was a really big hit. When I was at id, Doom sold 400,000 copies and that was a huge hit. You guys sell millions of games, and right now there are doctors, lawyers, clowns, and murderers all
playing your games. When you think of E3 2000, remember Sandy Petersen saying that you guys will one day sell 100 million copies!" That quote may not be 100% accurate, but it was pretty close.
Hearing this, I just sat thinking of how amazing it is that a game studio unheard of just 4 years ago, has become one of the top developers in the country. Congratulations Ensemble Studios!

Ice-T, one of the most famous rap artists in the world was on hand to sign promos for a game he's doing the voice for. I saw him when looking
for the Olsen twins, who were supposed to be at E3. Unfortunatly, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen must have took off as soon as they saw Ice-T (or maybe me, now that I think about it).

Two trashy looking girls and a guy from Planet of the Apes. This is really what E3 is all about folks. These girls were part of the
Gameshark booth, and I still don't know what Gameshark is. It's not a game, and it's not a magazine, or at least I don't think it is. Anyway,
they definitely went for the easy road in terms of booth marketing. There was always a large crowd.
