**Update** Jan 6, 1:48pm EST
The tournament is now officially over as RIP_Prodigal has conceded to FoN_Raveman, who claims fourth place. The updated results can be viewed bellow, and the entire brackets from start to finish can be viewed here.

I've uploaded most of the more entertaining recorded games to our downloads section of the site. Pop some popcorn and download a few!

My thanks to all participants! Despite a rough first round, everything went pretty smoothly. Everyone was very patient and cooperative, which made this whole event quite a pleasure to organize. Congrats once again to QGUARDIAN, our King of the Nomads! Further kudos are in order for petard_rusher, magicmel, and FoN_Raveman, who all played some fantastic games!

See you all on the battlefield Agers!

**Update** Jan 1, 1:16am EST
(still Dec 31 where I am, but Happy New Year all) The top three spots in the tournament were decided today! Congrats to QGUARDIAN, our King of the Nomads! Recorded games will be uploaded in the new year. (tomorrow) Hopefully we'll be able to figure out who our 4th and 5th place finishers are shortly.

**Update** Dec 31, 12:52pm EST
All parties involved have been e-mailed regarding the proposed bracket set up for the finals which will look like this. Hopefully we'll get this all decided at 3pm today, see ya then!

**Update** Dec 30, 9:46pm EST
Brackets have been updated with round three results. Things will be weird next round as we have an odd number of players. I'll be posting the brackets for the finals tonight. To decide a 4th place finisher, I think we'll have to have _RIP_Prodigal and FoN_Raveman play another match. Matches will be played tomorrow at 3pm EST. Stay tuned for more...

**Update** Dec 30, 4:40pm EST
Brackets have been set up for round three. petard_rusher will be replacing anyone who doesn't show up, but will receive a "bye" if all do. The round officially starts at 7pm EST, but you can play earlier if you and your opponent agree. You can view the brackets here.

**Update** Dec 30, 1:20pm EST
Brackets have been set up for round two. You can view them here. Round two gets underway at 3pm EST, so see ya'll then!

**Update** Dec 30, 3:33am EST
The submission form for recorded games has died a horrible death. Sorry folks, but none of the recorded games submitted via the form were received. (they are in oblivian) We are going back to the old fashioned method of e-mailing the recorded games in, which you can send to thunder@heavengames.com.

Ok, given that kink in the plans, a couple of matches from yesterday are undecided still as I don't know who the winners were. The winners can e-mail me the result + recorded game, or simply show up and we'll throw em into the bracket for round two. The round one bracket has been updated with the information I currently have, see here.

On a brighter note, the random winner of an ES t-shirt for the first round is...*drumroll*...Bundy! I'll be in touch for your mailing address.

**Update** Dec 29, 6:30am EST
Please note that there is now an active link above to the submit form for recorded games. Winners from each round will need to upload their recorded game using the form.

The pairings for round one have been made and are now posted on the registered players & brackets page. If you are not paired with an opponent for a round, you need to show up at the start time. You will be paired with a player who's opponent didn't show up within 30 minutes and was disqualified. If you do not show up, you can not advance to the next round. Note, this only applies to hZ_Foulogre for this round.

Round one begins tonight at 7pm EST! Best of luck to all. ; )

Rules:

Each round will have a start time and a deadline. The start time is when all players are expected to show up in the Conquerors game room on GameSpy Arcade. The deadline is the time when all recorded games from that round are to have been uploaded using the form link above. Players who do not show up within 30 minutes of the start time will be disqualified.

Brackets will be set up prior to the start time of each round and can be viewed here: Registered Players & Brackets. Random pairings will be made with the registered players who's opponents do not show up in the Conquerors game room on GameSpy Arcade within 30 minutes of the start time. If your opponent does not show up, remain in the lobby and you will be assigned a new opponent.

A recorded game must be properly submitted by the WINNER of the game before the round deadline to become the official winner and move on to the next round. If it is not submitted properly, or before the deadline, the winner of that game may not be officially acknowledged, and may be eliminated from the tournament. The deadline for each round will be announced, along with the start time, on this page.

Cheating in any form, including exploitation of any bugs, is not tolerated. Players who have submitted a recorded game that appears to contain evidence of cheating will be eliminated from the tournament if they can not show their actions were legitimate. (this ban will possibly include any future tournaments & contests & the forums)

Games that go out of sync, or end prematurely as a result of a disconnection must be restored (take a screenshot of your victory screen, as the game recording will not resume after the point of disconnection, and send it to the tourney judge). If restoring the game fails, start a new game.

All entrants must have a valid e-mail address for contact purposes. If your e-mail address is found to be invalid, you will be eliminated from the tournament.

The decisions of the Tournament Judge are not open to dispute, they are final. We will do our best to resolve any disputes fairly and promptly. If you don't agree with the reported outcome of your match, please bring it to the attention of Tournament Judge immediately. We will do our best to provide a fair and fun event!
