The explorer looked around. "Have I died?" He muttered to himself, "Is this Hell?" He kicked his boot into the coal black dust that covered the ground and stared at the intimidating scene around him. All around him, there was nothing but molten rock, hissing and belching. Unnamed creatures leapt from the fires, snapping at his heels, and distant howls sent a shiver down his spine. Twisted skeletons of trees reached skywards, clawed hands against the night-black sky. Looking nervously around, the explorer set off on a journey that, unknown to him, would take him through terror and out the other side...
------------------------------------------------------------
This is a horror scenario, set in a land devoid of hope. Hideous nightmares enslave and torture humanity, raiding villages, killing women and children and eating their flesh. For centuries, the people of this land have prayed for salvation, and now it comes in the form of a lost explorer, tired and weary, who will deliver them from the nightmare that is their lives.
This zip file includes the cpx. file, 4 sound files and the Lava/Volcanoes modpack by HIGH EMPEROR.
The modpack greatly inhances the campaign gameplay and map design. Although not essential, lack of the modpack totally deflates the horror theme of this scenario. |

I really like the first scenario, but for some reason the second one crashes at the first second of the game. |

Very Nice! The mod definetely set the atmosphere... (but also made my comp lag...which rarely happens) |

I loved the first scenario, and the modpack is incredible to say the least. However, I encountered the same problem as WhiteWolf and the second scenario crashed right as it started. Any ideas? |

I'm terribly sorry for all the inconvenience. The second scenario crashes due to the large amounts of tasking triggers in the starting effects. I've changed this by timing the tasking triggers so they don't happen at the same time. I thank you all for being so patient and for all of you that took the time to point this out to me.
I'm updating it now, and I hope you enjoy this scenario. :) |

AAAARGGH! I now get just a few more seconds of the 2nd scenario and it still crashes! Am I not doing something right here? Does it need to be at a certain speed to play it? HELP ME!!!!!!!!!
(Sorry I'm flipping out, but I really want to see the rest of this campaign...) |

Wow! Thanks for the great review! Maybe you should have given reasons for the grade you gave.
Anyway, I've fixed the second scenario and ironed out a few bugs that I'm glad you didn't get to see. :) It should work now. |
